I checked with mine as well and was given that same basic quote, around $1700. Wasn't rocket science to remove and install!

Looks good! I'm planning on doing the same thing as soon as I get back home from Florida. For us the jack knife sofa isn't all that uncomfortable. It's just that we want/need built-in foot rests.

By the way, my dealer back in Indy checked with Starcraft to see what their theater seat would cost as a part. Would you believe $1,654.59 plus shipping, not to mention installation if I didn't do the work myself.

Home Goods Mania is the name of the Amazon store. 56" wide and is perfect for the room we had to place it. $290.50

The recliner cost roughly $280, maybe a little more. Bought it from an Amazon store, will have to go back and look and find out which one. The table is actually one I cut down from a regular end table. I'll post a pic and find the name of the store I bought from.

Looks good. I know you got it on amazon. What brand or product description and how much. Did you get the table at amazon also. I would like to do the same. Thanks for the pictures send more of the table.

Finally have pictures! Took about 20 minutes to put the unit together and situate it. Have a table that will go on the right hand side under the window. that will go in tomorrow. Also need to bolt it to the floor. With the slide in the recliner is pretty secure but I will feel better by bolting it down.

Have not replaced the sofa just prepared to do so. Removing the jack knife was incredibly easy and as the one we purchased is only 56" wide I expect installation to be simple. Bought from Amazon, weighs around 200 lbs.
