Autumn Ridge questions

We have purchased a 2012 Autumn Ridge 278BH and so far have used it twice. First question is about cleaning the roof. Is the roof strong enough to hold a 250 pound man ? Do I have to use wooden planks? Anyway, should I get on my hands and knees (sorta difficult for this 68 year old) with rubber roof cleaner and bucket of water ? I am afraid if I hose it, I will just get black streaks going down the sides. How difficult is it to clean the roof with the rubber roof cleaner ?
Now next is probably one of those so called silly questions but, the last time we took it out, we were on a slight slope with the front of the camper being the low end. ( for those not familiar with the tongue jack on this camper, instead of going just up and down, it folds out then goes down). When we tried to lower the tongue jack, it would only fold out part way then hit the ground. When this happens again, what is the proper technique to do ? Dig out ground with a shovel ?
