Yes, I just re-positioned the handle and filled the bolt holes. Screwed the front to the box.jcarlilesiu wrote:Great job. Why the manufacturers don't put more drawers in these things is beyond me.
Is that the original cabinet front?

Cabinet to drawer mod
We have a huge cabinet underneath the oven, it is more than 2 feet deep. My wife keeps the pots, pans and other cooking gear there. It seems that every time you need something out of the cabinet, it is at the very back. You have to get down on your hands and knee's and unload the cabinet and reach to the very back for what you want. Royal pain in the butt. I built a drawer to fit in the cabinet, it ended up being 24" deep, 18" wide, and 12" tall. Pretty good size for all the cooking gear. I then installed brackets (the hardest part as I had figure out how to fasten the inner ends to the cabinet by making some wood blocks). Screwed the door to the front of the cabinet and relocated the handle. Works great, lots of room and no more laying on the floor to get something!
