Magnum Roof System

The magnum roof system isn't new for 2015 on Jayco's, It started in 2013. Our 2013 Travel Star has that design.

So I can safely assume that our 2014 16RB has the same construction?

Good news if that is true.

I wonder why this year they are advertising it so hard? When I was shopping for the 16RB we bought last year, I don't remember seeing anything about it.

I just watched the video. If the tests are accurate, it looks pretty impressive.

Not sure why anybody would need to have that much load capacity on an rv roof though. Snow load is one thing, that was much more than that.

They always improve something year to year.

I hate buying anything, because I know as soon as a do, a new "latest and greatest" will come out.

I believe its just a typical "residential style" wood truss system.

I think that they beefed up the roof construction starting in 2015. Older Starcrafts should look like the "inferior" competitor style! Ha!

Is this new? If so, what does my 2013 have?
