A/C and furnace question

If you have checked both fuses and circuit breakers, I can't think of anything else that would shut both of them down. Are you on electricity or on a generator?

My furnace and A/C unit have both stopped working. My guess is it has something to do with the thermostat since that is the only thing they have in common. I have checked the fuses including the 2 amp one in the thermostat. Any help would be appreciated
