This is close to our Home place so really haven't camped much in Fredericksburg.
Have camped at the AQUIA PINEs and Fredericksburg KOA. Both are good access from I95... The Aquia is located between I95 and Route 1 and is very loud truck traffic... The KOA is a standard KOA which has people coming and going all times of the day and night...
If you are staying here for awhile I would really recommend the WESTMORELAND STATE PARK but it is near the town of Montross, VA off the Potomac River some 40-50 miles East of Fredericksburg...
We live 25 miles from Westmoreland SP here in King George and this is where we like to go to test out mods and just want to camping close by. A very nice campground...
