Funny you say that, the new one has all the mods we made to the old one. And more counter space.

Let me guess...You made all of the mods you wanted, so now it's time to get another trailer you can mod?

Not much more money, about $4k.

I figure we can sell the old one between 15k and 18k, purchase the new one for 24k and be much happier.

The new one is 4 feet longer and a ton heavier. The current TV can handle it though.

I have a confession to make ....

Like every other RV owner on the planet, we spend a fair amount of time looking at other people's RV's. We see things we like, other trailers we don't, but always feeling as though we made the right decision of our purchase of a Launch 24RLS. :D

That was until today.

We came across a Highland Open Range UT2804RK. Granted these things were not in production until the 2017 models hit the streets, so we could not possibly have bought one back in 2014 when we picked up our wonderful 24 foot home on wheels. Replace the captains chairs with a trifold sofa and the layout of the UT2804RK is everything we wanted; huge U- shaped countertop, larger fridge, 50 gallon tanks, a fireplace.....

We are pondering when to sell ours and buy a gently used Open range. Ours is nearly pristine, and modified how we like it (except for the missing fireplace) We own it outright, no loan. Let the debate begin - shall we wait for the first used ones to start showing up or wait a while?
