Glad to hear you're happy with your new TT.

We went with a typical 'household' mattress and made the bed frame a little bigger. The queen mattress was on the yearly just-about-to-close-down-for-the-season sale in Delaware for a mere $300, no tax.

It's the right firmness, and we can use regular linens.

"Where would you like that delivered sir?"
"To the parking lot, we're outside by your loading dock"

Picked up my 19BHS!

Several weeks ago wife and I drove from our home in Burbank CA to the RV show at Phoenix International raceway. Saw the one we wanted (Launch 19BHS), bought it and gave them a list of what we wanted added. last Wednesday we hopped into our 2016 Toyota Highlander and drove back to Phoenix to pick it up. After the walk through on Thursday we headed off to Benson AZ to show it off to my brother. Needless to say I was a little concerned about how the Highlander was going to do. I am happy to report that it towed the trailer like a champ. Set the cruise control for 58 mph and motored merrily down the highway. Engine rpms were 2,200 at 58mph ... 2,800 at 59mph. Needless to say I found the sweet spot. Got 13 mpg. Trip was from Phoenix to Benson AZ, for night one, then to Goodyear AZ for night two, Indio CA for night three then back to Burbank today. The trip was a great way to learn about the trailer, and we couldn't be more pleased. The biggest thing we want to change is the bed. Not quite firm and plush enough for our liking. If anyone has a mattress recommendation we would love to her about it. Can't wait to do a few "custom" things to it and get back out on the road.
