24RLS Slide Controller?

WHat is wrong with the slide out ?

We had 2 problems ;

1- Some genius thought it was a good idea to run the cable directly over the tire. The cord was damaged which required a splice after re-routing the cord. There was plenty of spare cord to re-route and splice.

Same thing happened with this one. They picked up the trailer from the dealer and on the 30 mile trip home, the seal moulding around the side came loose exposing the wiring. All of it dragged on the top of the tire requiring a splice and an immediate order from Starcraft of seal molding around the slide.

Ours is also in the heater area under the TV, behind the intake vent, on the right side.

If the controller isn't inside the furnace enclosure, then I would look somewhere else that would be accessible between the slide out and the battery on the hitch. For example, inside the shower access panel, inside the bath sink panel, maybe even the under bed storage area. It would have to be somewhere accessible but not out in the open.

At least in my 2016 24rls, the slideout is powered directly by a fused wire from the battery. It doesn't get its power from the converter in the kitchen.

Mine is inside the return air grill below the tv 4 screws and the panel pulls out.look to the right of the furnace under the flex duct

Family member has a '17 24RLS and need to find the slide control board. Does anyone know where to look? It's not where the Starcraft customer service says it is.
