After a lot more negotiation and threats than should ever be necessary for a situation like this, they finally got things worked out with the dealer and Starcraft.

Thanks. We have discussed contacting BBB regarding the dealer. Hopefully, they will get this straightened out to everyone's satisfaction over the next few weeks.

You might suggest he contact the Better Business Bureau. They will contact StarCraft and it's my understanding that they are required to respond. Or send a letter to the CEO of StarCraft. We've done that before on a different issue and it does get a response.

He has not received anything regarding any recall. This particular dealer seems to be reputable, but as I mentioned the work they did on the trailer actually made things worse. We thought we could appeal to someone at Starcraft to help, but could not get past the call desk. They did register his VIN regarding the warranty work, but that doesn't help get a working trailer back in commission.

Sad to think that a company takes your hard earned money and leaves you with a pile of junk that you cannot even use!

The starcraft website has authorized dealers

We got 2 letters in the mail from Starcraft about the recall.

thanks for the info. Were you able to contact anyone at Starcraft, or were you on your own to find a reputable dealer to do the work? How were you notified of the recall?

Starcraft issued a recall on this very matter. They fixed my TT for the same problem.

After getting fed up with the shenanigans at Camping World, we found another Starcraft approved repair facility which we love.

Starcraft Warranty Contact

Post by cvx149 » July 18th, 2016, 2:55 pm

Looking for some assistance in contacting someone at Starcraft that can actually provide some assistance on a serious warranty issue.
(I'm posting this for my brother in law who is not all that computer savvy.)

He has a '14 Launch 26BHS - still under warranty - that has suffered severe water leaks into the gap where the diamond plate connects with the front cap. Water runs across the floor, plywood floor is damaged, furniture is damaged, inside front wall is damaged, stud grid inside front cap is badly damaged. To date the dealer has done very shoddy unacceptable work in the "repair" process rendering the trailer unusable. Calls to Starcraft customer service result in only being able to talk to the person answering the call desk and refusal to escalate to anyone else.

Does anyone have any idea who at Starcraft we could actually contact on this issue? Has anyone else been through this?

Sorry, I realize this is my first post here, but looking for some answers that seem to be difficult to get.
