One more thing to add:
If there is any movement between the receiver and the bike rack insert, add a anti rattle device to remove that movement. I use the one linked below.

Great advice tlarson. I have also seen some bolt on reinforcement plates that take the pressure off the welds.

Lots of people will tell you this will flex the bumper and eventually cause the welds to crack. I used the same Curt receiver on my Jayco and it worked ok. I believe the Curt style receiver hitch puts less stress on the bumper than any of the other types available. Good choice. One thing I did is mount the receiver off center to the left, it would then allow me to see one of the bike tires in my rear view mirror, giving me peace of mind that they were still attached. It also moved the bumper flex point closer to one side, hopefully putting less stress on the welds. One thing to note is to try to eliminate the bike rack bounce, thereby reducing bumper flex. Also don't carry more than 2 bikes.

Put a 2" receiver hitch on the bumper for my bike rack. I'd love to be able to double tow and pull my 16 foot jon boat at the same time, but that's frowned upon in Florida.

I put it upside down for ground clearance and the bikes are tucked up better.
