Re: Campground Water Pressure
We have a sediment filter attached to and just before our Valterra water regulator. No problems in over a year model # A01-1116VP A01-1117VP for the regulator, the filter is a typical GE style found at Home depot with hose fittings before and after the housing.

Campground Water Pressure
I started out using the same water pressure regulator (35-40 lbs) on my water hose that I've had for a couple years. We would have good pressure at all the inside faucets for about 20 seconds, then flow and pressure would drop.
I removed the regulator and then had constant great pressure and flow. We used it that way about a week until I noticed both kit and bath faucet connections were leaking under the sinks. Tightening them helped but still had a little dripping. Just too much water pressure.
Bought a Hi-Flo (50-55 lbs) regulator. No more leaks. The only thing is this new regulator has the same issue as my old one. Good flow and pressure for 20 seconds, then it drops. Makes it tough to adjust for taking a shower on campground water. My only solution has been to turn my pump on as a supplement to maintain a constant pressure.
