Leveling a Tandem Axle Trailer
Re: Leveling a Tandem Axle Trailer
Might be easier to dig a 7" hole on the other side.
Re: Leveling a Tandem Axle Trailer
7" I would of requested another site! No Way should a campground give you a site that far off

Re: Leveling a Tandem Axle Trailer
Why not just jack it up under the axle and go up one axle at a time?

Leveling a Tandem Axle Trailer
The site I'm currently camped at was quite a challenge to get anywhere close to level. Beautiful site on the lake but really sloped. Took 2 hours and a lot of trickery with every piece of wood I had with me. I had to get the trailer up 7 1/2" on one side.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any tricks & tips to level tandem axle trailers? This camp site would have been easy with a single axle, but you can't fit much between the tandem wheels. I suppose a person could build a 7' long plank with 4 more shorter stair stepped planks to get that high. I'm guessing I might not be able to pick it up, though! And I'm already getting close to my max weight.
Thanks for any ideas.
