Manual crank up hard to raise

We have a 2007 Starcraft Cenntemial 3608
HW Pop Up camper. I feel that the manual crank is a bit to hard to crank it up. I have got under it and grease the fitting and cable and the tunnel. I don’t know hoe to grease the four posts.
I know I am strong enough, to crank it. ,but it just feels like it is to much resistance to raise the roof . Any body has any tips to make it go up easier, I cannot afford a a electric winch.
