That's what I did. Of course you can purchase some plastic blocks from Walmart or any RV store. More and more RV's are higher off the ground that the older ones. Just my thoughts.

Short stabilizer jacks- 2018 27BHS

Post by endoracing » June 10th, 2018, 9:20 pm

We just picked up a 2018 Autumn Ridge Outfitter 27bhs and we tried the stabilizer jacks on the level pad when we picked it up and it doesn't reach the ground even on a perfect surface. Is that normal? We had a much lower camper before this and never had to stack anything under the Jack's even on very uneven ground.

If it is normal does anyone have any cheap and light solutions to take up the difference? I was going to cut a 4x6 into some chunks but that is a heavy solution just for the jacks.

Thanks for any insight!
