Autumn Ridge 278BH
Re: Autumn Ridge 278BH
They say you can crawl on the roof without issue, I have not yet, I used a movable scaffold to get up to a level I could scrub the roof. I seen guys walking on them, I prefer nto to especially if I am making it wet for cleaning.

Re: Autumn Ridge 278BH
Hi. We also have a 2012 Autumn Ridge 278BH. We purchased it used last year and was only able to use it one time. We hope to use it a lot more this year with the kids and grandkids but they have summer basketball, swim team, and / or band practice, lol. One question I have for you, is it safe to walk on the roof to clean it and check the vents etc. (is the roof strong enough)? Should I use planks when I go up there ? We live in eastern Ohio and are retired. We were into camping about 25 years ago when our kids were younger and are just starting to get back into it. Thank you in advance----
Mike

I'm in Thornhill. Do most of my camping within a couple of hours of Toronto. Maybe we'll run into each other this summer.mcmahonm wrote:Duty where in Ontario are you, I have yet to see another 278BH at any of the campsites I visit, sometimes wondered if I was the only guy who like the layout.
Maybe see you down the road.

I saw a camper recently that had bunk beds on both sides. It was like 4 twins (maybe smaller) stacked in two groups. It reminded me of a submarine sleeping quarter!mcmahonm wrote:we looked for a year, stumbled upon this one at the last RV show in the area in 2012, and instantly new thats what we wanted was double bunks in back for kids.mick wrote:I don't think I have ever seen a floor plan with double bunk beds that are that big.
When manufacturers say a camper can sleep 6, I laugh. With your plan, I believe it.
It got lots of space for everyone, including the 90lb german shepard

Congrats on the new trailer. Its always great to have something new to you that you can customize and not worry about what somebody else screwed up before you got to it!
