Something else to keep in mind that I found out the hard way is the power line to the electric brakes doesn't go through the on/off switch. It connects directly to the battery, just like the power jack, at least on my 24rls. So, if you accidentally unplug the breakaway switch by stepping on the cable like I did, it will run the battery down in about 3 hours.

When I got my 24lrs home I noticed the wire from the electric JACK to the 30 amp fuse was pinched between the frame and my w/d hitch brackets that the dealer installed from my previous trailer. This year the electric JACK would not work. Fuse was good but fuse holder and fuse blades were corroded. Cleaned both and use dielectric grease and all is fine

Did you solve your problem? I'm having the same problem after I connected my battery after winter storage. Found the 30 amp fuse had also blown.
Tongue jack doesn't work unless I connect to the tow vehicle with the engine running.

Not sure how the TV cable could have caused your problem. It is my understanding the TV when hooked up only charges the battery and runs the running lights on the trailer. Connect to shore power and then start trouble shooting. Good luck and keep us up to date.

The trailer lights are on a completely different circuit than the 12V system.
Though the trailer lights are run from a 12V system, its power is provided from the TV.
It sounds like you are having a problem getting power to the circuit board and running anything on the battery.
Question is... what happens when you plug into shore power? Does the converter/charger blower turn on?

You say the trailer lights are working, but no internal lights. Is the trailer plugged into house or garage or are you using the battery? can you confirm the battery is charged?
If the trailer lights work when connected to the tow vehicle than the cable you severed is fixed. The 30 Amp fuse should be check very closely I had one go that looked okay but was not.
turn off all the breakers and work your way through them to back on. I not sure what the panel look like on this trailer my 278BHS is still in storage.
Did you disconnect the battery while you were doing the repair?

Yeah I have that cutoff. ...already checked that one.
It's a 28BHS ultra lite.

I need some help....
We bought a new Starcraft Launch 2 weeks ago. Drove it home from the dealers and managed to sever the electrical cable connecting the trailer to the SUV when reversing (it was WAY too long...).
Ordered a new slightly shorter cable. Installed the cable and found that no internal electrics were working. Looked at the 30 amp wire fuse from the battery and found that had blown (I suspected shorted when the cable severed). Replaced the fuse and now NOTHING works! I can't use the electric tongue jack or anything internal.
I've tried the GFI. I've checked the breakers. I rechecked the fuses.
Is there a small button I've missed somewhere?? I know on our previous trailer, there was a really small button you had to press underneath that reset the circuit.....
I checked the brake lights and blinkers - they work.
I'm calling the dealer tomorrow and I'll probably be back there next week unless somebody has any ideas.
Thanks!
