Re: grey water tank level indiicator
Before doing anything I'd pour 5 gallons of water with a cup of water softener and a squirt of dishwashing liquid into the tank and let it slosh around during the drive to the next campsite. If you drive like I do, the sloshing will be very effective.
The water softener and sloshing will help dissolve and loosen any debris in the tank. Flush well, then look at the sensor again.
Then I'd go chasing wire faults. Tank sensors are notoriously wrong.

It sounds to me like you have the exact opposite problem most others have. Your's shows empty when filled. Dirty sensors will generally show the opposite, full when empty. I suspect a problem with the sensor wiring or monitor panel itself.

It's more typical to see this in black tanks sooner than grey. Regardless, usually flashing the tank repeatedly will eventually free the sensor up. They do make a product for censor cleaning that you can add to the tank and it will help flush out any debris.
These sensors are notoriously inaccurate and stuck as you are describing.

grey water tank level indiicator
We have a 2016 Launch 26RLS. After only a couple uses the grey water tank level indicator does not work. Only shows E even though I have filled it several times to check it. Is there something I can do to try to fix this?
