I have with all my trailers is go around underneath and caulk and spray foam any and all size of openings in the underbelly cover or underside of the trailer. Have someone go inside at night while you are under the trailer a shine a flash light in every bottom cupboard and area you can find and seal up all areas where you see light and never worry bout rodents again! Check every year or so. Also put a screen cover over your furnace vent as the rodents do find their way up and into the vent, Good Luck with your new trailer and enjoy it! :D

Thank you for your responses. I don't cold weather camp so I am feeling better about not getting the climate package just for the sake of rodents. Sounds like I will have to secure vulnerable areas anyway.

I noticed the same thing on my 24rls - drooping gaps between the screws in the undershield. The gaps were about 1/2", enough for a mouse to squeeze through not to mention bugs. I'm not sure how Starcraft could solve that issue. I think it might be due to expansion/contraction of the plastic shield. The screws are about 8" apart. You would think that would be close enough to keep it tight. In any case, I sealed mine with black duct tape for the time being. I thought that would at least keep most bugs out.

I have the same tt as you. I do have the climate package, however they are still gaps between the screw go screw. I will have to talk to my dealer to see if that is covered under warranty because the way it is now a rodent could get in. One would think those gaps makes it useless, air coming and all. Still happy that I did get it though. Good Luck

I just bought a 2016 Launch 24rls. I did not get the climate package so the underside is not fully enclosed. Has anyone experienced problems with mice getting in? I'll have to store this outside this winter in Michigan. I pick it up Tuesday and wonder if I should get one with a climate package instead. Thoughts?
