When I put my sewer hose in for the first time, I already had a rust haze inside of the bumper I just assumed that they did not paint the inside. One would thank that it should be, anyone else seen this? Thanks

I never even considered the rusting perspective.

Interesting.

Yes, I moved my spare to one side as soon as I brought it home from the dealer. That was so I could install my bike rack receiver in the middle. Of course a bike rack is a controversy in itself, which has been discussed elsewhere. I never like the idea of storing a wet sewer hose inside the bumper and have always used a rubber-maid tub. I do keep a brand-new sewer hose inside the bumper for an emergency. I've thought about a PVC pipe to store a sewer hose. Actually, the hidden space combined with the space under the sofa in a 24rls would be perfect to install a 7' PVC pipe or post inside with a small outside door.

Has anyone moved the spare tire holder to one side rather than the middle? I plan on installing a 5x5 vinyl holder for my sewer hose. My last camper the bumper started to rust.
