We did the same thing with our door and the plexiglass. Works great.

Congratulations on your new Starcraft!

This works for our small dog. I installed a piece of 1/8" plexiglass in the side channels of the screen door. I cut it a little wider than the opening and bowed it to pop it in. A persistent dog could scratch it up, but ours doesn't like slick things and leaves it alone.

Pulling the trigger

Post by Paws2Enjoy » September 10th, 2017, 1:15 am

We've been looking for a Launch 22BUD which Starcraft discontinued this year and TA DA!!!!! are in the process of making one ours! We're doing a long-distance sale with a wonderful dealership and can't wait to haul her home! :D

With that said, I want to install asap a screen door pet guard. The design of the one carried at CW leaves me wondering at the ease with which a paw could become wedged in the scroll design. I'd love to hear some suggestions on pet guards that have worked effectively and safely! We will add the cross/push bar on the screen as well.
