Hi there,
Could either of you post a couple of pictures of how that worked out. I've got a feeling I'm going to be doing that this spring. Thanks.

I put hinges and a magnetic cabinet catch on the panel under the fridge so that I didn't have to take the screws out each time! I also replaced the screws with Knobs on the bathroom panel and just put some velcro on the back of the panel, so now I just have to pull off the panel and stick it back when I'm done. Lazy Man's way of doing things!!!

My 2016 16rb has a low point drain under the bathroom sink and outside under the fresh water tank.

If you have an Atwood hot water heater, they used to recommend against anything but a nylon plug because brass, etc will react with their aluminum clad tank and corrode. The plus side of Atwood heaters was they didn't need an anode.

Over the years I've found it's a good idea to replace the nylon plug every year. It might look good, but the heat must weaken it. Next thing you know, it breaks off and you have to carefully drill it out.

Just drained the water heater nylon plug. On my last tt I had a brass plug with a radiator type petcock on it. I purchased this part. Is there any reason I could not do this again. This wh does not have an sac annode.

The fresh water drain is under the trailer, behind the tires on the passenger side, below the sink area.

Regarding 24rls: don't forget the low point drain on the outside. Also the screen filter on the pump should be unscrewed and drained. Not much water in it but enough to freeze it. Those are known to freeze and break. Also the outside shower hose needs to be drained.

Another thing to watch is whether the trailer is level when opening the drains. I thought my trailer was about level, opened all the low point drains and opened all the faucets and it drained until no more would come out. About an hour later I needed to raise the tongue to do something, and a whole lot of water rain out the back outside low point drain - maybe for 3 minutes!

I also usually blow the water lines with a compressor too, but we're heading south before it starts getting really cold, so I skipped that this year.

on my 2015 24rls there are two low point drains under the bathroom sink cabinet that has to be opened to drain all the water in the lines, you have to remove two screws in the lower part where the heat vent is and then move the panel off to the side to get to the two valves, just did mine this past weekend!
