Hi all! Newbie poster, but we've owned our Comet for 9 years.

I'm looking to commiserate and ask for advice. Each year, despite taking all the precautions we can think of (drive slowly, check the tires often, etc) we end up blowing a tire on the highway. Of course we have a spare, and we garage the PUP all year. And when the tires blow, boy do they blow to pieces. We have four kids, and we all hold our breath each trip, waiting for the tire to go. Any advice? We've got the standard tires for it, and continue to replace them with the RV tires because, well, that is what is suggested.
