Kindof sounds like the battery is possibly shorted or backwards. I would definitely have a qualified technician sort it out.

Hi, I have a 2006 rt13 pop up, We we're plugged in to electric when we plugged in the converter was whistling and would not stop. I unhooked the batteries and whistling stopped then the radio started working , it would not work when batteries were still hooked up, then I accidentally hit the water pump switch and water pump stopped working at sink but still had water at indoor and outdoor shower. Set the thermostat before bed and heater was working then in middle of night everything stopped working suddenly and smelled something burning. I checked all breakers and they were not tripped, checked the fuses inside door of converter and all good??? I'm at a loss any help would be much appreciated
