Re: New owner - Starcraft 212FB
Update: I loosened the screws on the bracket holding the screen door to the main door and moved it over. That’s all it took. All is working as it should now

Yes, it’s a 2020 model.
Our last two campers and every camper I’ve ever been in had both doors open when you opened the main door.
When you open the main door from outside, you then have to reach in and slide the round knob on the screen door to open it.
Edit: If I loosen the small, black bracket that holds the screen door to the main door and slide it over to the left, would that prevent the screen door from latching while the main door is opened/closed? Then I would still have room to slide the round knob over enough to get the screen door to disengage from the bracket and it would latch to the camper if we just wanted the screen open?

My screen door has a catch that keeps it attached to the main door unless you physically release it. I’ll try to get a picture tomorrow and post it. What year is your trailer? Soundz strange that the two doors are independent.
I see you said it is new, so 2020, it must be. There must be some kind of catch.

New owner - Starcraft 212FB
Hi all, we just purchased a new Starcraft 212FB (our 3rd camper). Just wanted to say hello and ask a question.
Our main entry door has the screen door behind it. However, every time we open the main door, we have to manually open the screen door after. Is there any way to have both doors open when we open the main door? When exiting the camper, you have to grab the screen door with your right hand and main door with your left hand in order to exit. Am I missing something? It doesn’t appear that there’s any kind of catch to have both open at the same time though.
Thanks for any help.
Jeff
