I have an 1800 peak generator I wish would run my 13.5k Coleman. Wonder if it's worth it for a capacitor.

Let me know if it works for you.

Anybody install one of these kits on their Airxcel A/C units? Just curious about how difficult it is. I'm pretty handy with mechanical stuff, I just don't like fooling around with electrical stuff.

I'm having trouble with my generator starting the units on our 329BHU. It's hit or miss at best. The generator has the capacity to run the A/C units once they get started (4000 peak, 3600 running), it just struggles to start them. I realize that it can only run one of the A/C units at a time. According to the techs at Airxcel, the hard start capacitor will fix the problem.
