PawPaw I looked very closely at your awesome bed shelf to cabinet modification.

Your shelf appears to be several inches above the wardrobe handles. Our shelf is extremely low and horizontally in line with the wardrobe handles. Did you also move the shelf higher?

I am still waiting to get word from StarCraft about my 'clonk a head' shelf debacle" and possible error in the install process.

Thanks for posting. That might work in my 24rls. It has the same sort of shelf over the bed.

I got tired of the less than adequate storage and stuff falling off the shelf so we put our carpentry skills to work. The following mod is completed using NO screws into the body of the trailer. We simply cut pieces of wood to fit together, holding itself in place.

1- We scribed some 3/4" ply as the far right and left sides. A rabbit joint was made at shelf height.
2- Copies were made of each piece for the center support
3- We bought 2 doors from Ikea, shaker style in a color that matched pretty darn well. The doors are the flp up / hold themselves up / slo-mo type
4- The hardware for the doors is attached to the plywood pieces. This keep them from tipping over when combined with the center shelf
5- The door fold upwards flat with the ceiling and stay there when opened.
6- We can now store a weeks' worth of clothing with ease.
7- The center mullion could be stained better but we had limited color choices.
