Here are the links for the controller and t-stat if you have a Coleman Mach series system, by the way this mod controls the gas furnace as well, a welcome benefit.....Coleman 8530A3451 Digital Thermostat,Coleman 9330C755 Control Box, sold by Amazon, sorry the links would not work.

Leave the old manual control knobs in place on your rooftop unit, with today's quality control standards you never know when an electronic part will fail, if out on the camping trip you could swap the 115 v power back to the old control in 15 minutes and be back in business! Also, I have part numbers for the new control box, electric strip and digital t-stat if anyone is interested just pm me.......

Installed my new honeywell 5/2 digital thermostat today. Everything works good heat and ac. I was even able to use the old mounting holes.

It would be nice to be able to turn the a/c off remotely during a phone call, not to mention turning the furnace on from bed in the morning. Anyway, here's the wiring diagram for the thermostat. I think this is pretty much standard on systems with a Coleman.

A new thermostat wouldn't have to have both high and low fan connections, but it would be nice. That's only for the a/c unit. The furnace has its own automatic fan.

As far as a remote, I think a person could simply turn the +12 to the thermostat on and off. It would control both cold and heat depending on which way it is switched.
This is HUGELY helpful. Thank you.

Now the question is, how to route the wiring to the Coleman Mac AC, and where to find a blank off panel for the manual controls.
