Update:
I've used the system for a couple of trips now, and the monitor inside my truck failed on our 4th of July trip. I spoke with the customer service folks at TST and we tried a little trouble shooting but the unit still didn't work. They said they would replace it and to my surprise, the new unit was waiting for me when we got back home. Now that's what I call great customer service!
The new monitor has been installed and now everything is working perfectly. In case you're wondering, I have the 507RV model.
Hope this info helps anyone thinking about getting a TPMS.
Happy travels!

I didn't get the "inside the tire" sensors. I got the ones that screw onto the valve stem.
The reporting maybe 2 minutes if all 22 wheels are being used. It seems that the unit polls each tire about every 5 - 6 seconds or so, that means it completes a scan of my four tires about every 20 seconds or so. I didn't actually time it - that's just my guess.

I was just looking at their FAQ's to see how often the TST sensors report and see it's every 2 minutes. That concerned me at first, but I see the TST goes into a constant reporting mode if it detects rapid deflation. Good deal - that's important in my opinion.
What did it cost to have a shop open the tires up and install the sensors, etc?

I received my TPMS system from TST and got it installed. I bought the 507RV model.

This unit is actually designed to handle big rigs and has the ability to monitor 22 tires! You can purchase the number of tire sensors that you need - I got 4 for our TT. In hindsight, I should have purchased an extra sensor for the spare tire too. I'll probably order it today.
The system constantly scrolls through the tires you program, and shows both tire pressure and temperature. You can set the parameters you want for both psi & temp before the alarm goes off. We haven't tested it on the road yet because our weather has been so bad and we haven't been able to go anywhere, but I did test it on my driveway by reducing the air pressure on one of the tires - it works and the alarm is pretty loud. I could hear the alarm beeping inside my truck while I was reducing the pressure on the tire on our TT.
This little unit seems to be everything I hoped it would be.

I just checked my tire pressure, and that would be a very handy device to have on long trips.
Let us know your thoughts on it.

After a lot of research, I ordered a TPMS system for my TT from TST. These guys had the best reviews and their systems seem a little better than the others. They also have a 3 year warranty. I ordered the 507RV system for $259.00. I'll let you guys and gals know how well it works after I get it installed and give it a road test.

wish I could help. I do not have a tpms system but would love to have one. I know the people that have installed them really like them and has really helped them at times. don't remember the brands of their systems though.

I'm thinking about buying a TPMS system for my TT. I've done some looking on line and learned that there are several choices out there, and they all claim to be the best thing ever.
I'm wondering what you guys are using.
