I haven't done this but have heard you can plug a heavy duty flasher unit into the RV Trailer cable end and it will flash the RV Trailer RUNNING LIGHTS...

Its been a coupe of years since we have been there - was making work trips back and forth from here in Virginia and Montgomery ALA where I was pulling my POPUP on the trips.
