Re: AR-One 12v fridge

Did you ever find a solution for a replacement? I also have a 16BH and like you, I’ve been carrying a separate 12V compressor fridge/freezer in my truck for the important food items. I only use the trailer fridge to chill drinks and other less perishable food items.

Re: pop up tent trailer

I used Dicor "self-leveling" Lap Sealant for anything on the roof (vents, fans, etc.). Make sure everything is clean & dry before you apply the sealant on.

Glad to hear you found the issue.

The way I see it, for every problem you solve, that's one extra solution in the bank for a future trip. All the best!

Re: 2016 AR-one water not staying hot

I would check to see if your hot water heater tank is completely filled full with water. Because with a full tank boiled up, you should get more than 10-20 seconds out of it. And besides your pilot light, are the burners firing up on once you start using the hot water at the taps? I'm assuming you h...

Re: Tankless Water Heater

Thanks for the write-up & review. Previous owner of my trailer put in a brand new 6 gal water heater with electric ignition just before I bought it. So I"m good for a few more years. But when it comes time to replacing it, I'd definitely would consider a tankless on-demand system. So far, my 6 gal w...

Re: Rubber Roof

I'm not an expert on this but I have resealed and done work on my trailer roof. I would say as long as your lap sealant is covering the area that got cut, you should be fine. As with anything on the roof, just do regular inspections on it to ensure all your seals continue to be in good shape. If cra...

Re: Black and Grey Water Tank Upgrade?

My waste tanks are exactly the same as yours (9 & 15 gal). Coincidentally, we're on the same line of thought. I've been thinking about the possibility of upgrading my tanks as well. In particular, the black tank. With the current 9 gallon tank, I'm able to get about 4-5 days with 2 adults and 2 kids...

Re: AR One 14RB -Electric Drum Brakes

I also use a P3 as my brake controller. Works great and no complaints. Wiring up the brake controller into the vehicle took some time & effort running wires from the back receiver hitch all the way into the drivers' area and then into the front engine battery compartment. But once done, I can just e...

Re: Roof fan install for 2017 Sattelite RB17

Hey 2-yota Where did run power from on the fan inside the trailer next to the speaker? Thanks I got power from the adjacent ceiling light and just pulled wire through under the ceiling. Truth be told, for this size trailer, I think having one good fan works pretty well. Most of the time, I just fin...
