Re: Towing Telluride

Hi. I hope you are still checking here, and sorry for the late reply. I just towed my 296BHS 3600 miles from Maryland to Wyoming with a 2019 F250 6.2L gas engine. I always knew that the engine there was fine, but you really have to get into the gas pedal going up hills. However, I had a good wakeup ...

Re: Level Towing

I've been chasing this same "problem" for a while and have made a couple adjustments to improve the level. I tow with a 2019 Ford F250, but had similar height issues in the rear end. The Fords, as I think the Dodges, have gone to overly high rear ends. I bought shorter rear axle leaf spring spacer b...

Re: New Telluride and new to Starcraft forum

Just an update... I did raise the pin box one notch. I didn't get a new measurement of how level the truck sits because I went straight from the driveway to the storage lot, neither of which are level. But in general, it certainly helped and things look much closer now. My factory settings had an ab...

Re: New Telluride and new to Starcraft forum

I have the Curt A16. Interestingly, when I first got it, I only had the fixed legs for the factory 5th wheel prep pucks and it sat almost too low. While the turning clearance was pretty good with the regular bed, I went with the Curt manual slider and remounted the hitch to the slider base, also for...

Re: New Telluride and new to Starcraft forum

Welcome! I'm also new around here with the same model. We've only had one shakedown trip and even being RV first timers everything worked out perfectly and the Telluride never faltered. I've certainly found a couple nitpicks, like window blinds needing adjusting, door knob not closing quite right, k...

Re: Another Telluride on the road

Thanks, kuba. I feel like now I'll be eyeing up every passing 5er looking for that elusive Telluride label!

Another Telluride on the road

Hi folks. Also said hi in the new member forum, but wanted to stop in here too since this looks to be a quiet place. I, too, find it odd that there is so little conversation about the Tellurides out there. I know it is a new brand... maybe everyone is too busy out happily enjoying the country. Being...

New Telluride Owner in MD

Hi folks. New owner here of a Telluride 296BHS. Just took delivery of a 2019 "closeout" a week ago and the family is about ready for our maiden voyage. Bought the F250 with this unit in mind. Has all the factory 5th wheel prep and trimmings to make this a perfect tow vehicle and it really seems grea...
