Have an issue with my starflyer spaceflyer. was told to use silicone spray to lubricate gears, cables, etc. did so, now the noise when I crank it down is awful... like a growling sound. now what do I do?

I finished the storage compartment repair with some hardener, lightweight plywood, 100% silicone and truck bed liner.

Hi, Everyone from NW Florida Panhandle. Downgraded from a 26' TB to my first popup. Getting to the age where climbing on the roof of a tall RV was no longer appealing so decided to try something lower to the ground. LOL Got my work cutout for me as it is a fixer upper.
