Adding Glass Cooktop Cover
Though this was done to my 2018 Starcraft Satellite 17RB, it could benefit any camper needing more counter space, which the Satellite sorely needed. With the 17RB having the Suburban 2-burner cooktop and sink side-by-side, the only counter space is behind them and only large enough for a small coffe...

Re: New Starcraft Satellite 17 RB owners
MDDRUDGE, you stated that you added a power vent to your Satellite, did you replace the factory vent with a powered one or add a fan to the factory vent? In either case, did you find a power connection already there or have to run power to it?

Re: New Starcraft Satellite 17 RB owners
JJMJ, my wife & I purchased a new 2018 17RB as well last October and, as you’ll see under the Satellite Owners posts on here, we love ours as our 3rd TT purchased in just the last few years and have camped in it 6 days before putting it away for the Winter. This is actually the largest TT of the las...

Re: Roof leak 17RB?
Congrats on your Satellite purchase and I’m so glad you’ve not had any leaks. After ours was repaired at the NC dealer, it went through a lot of heavy rains out in the open for 3 weeeks without leaks, so we’re very pleased with their work. It’s always under cover at home and we weren’t able to make ...

Re: Blue coiled hose
Pete, you say it’s for the outside shower, which I confirmed the quick-connect does fit, but how do you attach a shower-head to it, since it has a male garden hose connection on the other end? Of course I’m sure I could attach a garden sprayer, but that’s not really suitable as a “shower”.

Re: Fairly new Satellite Owners
I posted a reply for you under the Satellite section, if you haven’t seen it yet, but I wanted to ask if anyone at CW explained to you about the blue coiled hose’s purpose? There’s a Topic regarding that on here, but so far nobody seems to know for sure.

Re: Roof leak 17RB?
Glad to hear you’ve not had any leaks with your Satellite and I’m glad we’ve not experienced the electrical issue you experienced. So sorry to hear you also had a very disappointing CW experience, having seen your other Post, as we did when we drove 6-hours to pick up ours. If it wasn’t such a great...

Roof leak 17RB?
We’ve had a new 2018 Satellite for 2 weeks now and just returned from a 3-day camp with rain all 3 days. That’s miserable enough, but on the first night, around 3:30am, my wife woke with water dripping on her pillow and running down the front wall of the camper. Of course a big part of our decision ...

Re: Screenroom attachement to awning
Matthew, another option, though it would certainly take some modifications, would be to buy a screen attachment like Lowes & Home Depot sell for their freestanding 10x10 & 12x12 canopies. I’ve seen them on Clearance at Lowes for $150 or less and, since the Satellite has a 9’ awning, it should come c...

Re: Blue coiled hose
We have the same question, since the Camping World we bought ours from didn’t have an answer and, although it fits the quick-connection for the outdoor shower, the other end is like a water hose male end that doesn’t fit a shower-head!
