Re: 2nd ac Unit
I'll add this, the Coleman unit, while fairly light, is physically very big. Something like 43" in length and most of that is behind the 14" roof vent. I had no clearance issues, but awkward to lift onto the roof. The instructions say the unit must be mounted level (when the RV is level) or max. 15 ...

Re: 2nd ac Unit
The standard thermostat only controls a single A/C unit, it is not a dual zone model. Also, there are no thermostat wires running from it up to the bedroom vent. So the 2nd A/C needs it's own thermostat and wiring to connect to the A/C. Much easier to use a unit that has the thermostat built into th...

Re: 2019 Telluride 292RLS
Hi Larry, A week ago I picked up my 2019 Telluride 292. You sound like a guy who is ahead of me on major fix-it tasks, but I love taking on a challenge. I am considering a surge protector (my trailer insurance will cover any outages, but there is always the problem with time and hassle) In my area,...

Re: 2019 Telluride 292RLS
The water pump has an access panel inside the basement storage area. There are 2 screws to remove it. So it is physically forward of the furnace, but only accessible thru the panel. There is also a valve and clear hose pickup for antifreeze. I just finished installing a hard-wired surge protector. I...

Re: 2019 Telluride 292RLS
I am a prospective Telluride 292RLS owner. I came to this forum to see how current owners are viewing their fiver. The unit has a really great floorplan for my needs, just need to know how the quality stacks up. It would be nice to hear from owners, particularly if you have had a positive experienc...

New Telluride owner
In a separate post, I covered a little about my new Telluride 292RLS. But while it is new, I've been towing fivers for 30 years. I have no idea what Starcraft's sales are compared to other brands, but there doesn't seem to be much owner participation on any forum. Two of my prior units were Crossroa...

I have owned fivers for 30 yrs and just finished an 1800 mile round trip to pick up this unit. It definitely has the best fit and finish of any unit I have owned in the past 18 yrs...
