Re: Are there step-by-step winterization guides for 16BH?
Someone on this forum might have put together a detailed winterization checklist for your model, but it really comes down to the minimum things to do and then all the extra things some like to do when storing their trailer over the winter in cold climates. In my mind, the minimum things are getting ...

Re: Low Point Valves (2015 Launch 26bhs)
The valves are probably right above those stubs inside the trailer. I have to take the lower panel off my bathroom sink to get to them on my 24rls. You'll want to make sure that end of your trailer is lower. But just to make things complicated, then I have to raise that end to get all the water to d...

Re: Rookie Mistake / Awning
I have a Lippert that is supposed to be self-leveling when it rains. But both arms stay up and then the awning collects a big pool of water which makes it sag in the middle. If I pull one arm down (before it rains) it will work itself back up in an hour or so. Long story short, I attach a bungee cor...

Re: 24rls ladder
Thanks for the info. I did call them yesterday and got ahold of someone right away that is going to email me a drawing. He needed my VIN to send the right drawing. Seems some changes were made during the 2016 model run. I'm going to install a ladder to clean the top of the slideout. A puddle of wate...

24rls ladder
Has anyone installed a rear roof ladder on their 24rls? If so, I'm wondering whether it has builtin backing to attach it?

Re: Pulling the trigger
Congratulations on your new Starcraft! This works for our small dog. I installed a piece of 1/8" plexiglass in the side channels of the screen door. I cut it a little wider than the opening and bowed it to pop it in. A persistent dog could scratch it up, but ours doesn't like slick things and leaves...

Re: Launch Ultra Lite 24RLS - Loaded Weight?
I weighed my 24rls at a Pilot last year, loaded and on the way to a week long camping trip. It came in a little over 6,100 lbs. There were plenty of other things we would have taken if we could have, but ultra lights just don't have the cargo capacity. Spec sticker says it can carry 940 lbs cargo, w...

Re: Buying New 24RLS: What to check for?
Congratulations! We love our 2016 24rls. One thing to make sure the dealer does is check the factory recall database. Never fun to take the trailer back for a recall that came out before you picked it up. A few other things - Make sure the dealer shows you exactly how the propane tanks switch over o...

Re: Short in the running lights
Geez - pulling the underbelly cover to find a short doesn't sound like much fun. Did you put plastic tubing everywhere the wires went through a truss? I would almost pay to watch one of these being put together, so I would know where the weak points were.

Re: Progressive industries ems
Are you going to permanently wire the ems in? There should be a 4x4 junction box somewhere just inside the back wall where the rubber power cord connects to the house wiring. That's where I've put one before. I'm just using a plugin ems on the trailer I have now. Best to tape that kind to the power ...
