Re: Squeaky Floor
No, there are 2x2's 18" apart running the entire length of the trailer according to the diagram Starcraft sent me. But the diagram does not show what they are fastened to. I just tried the screws from Counter-Snap and they refused to go in all the way. There was about a 1/2" left sticking out! It we...

Re: Propane Furnace Cycling
My trailer furnace fan runs a bit, maybe a minute or two after the gas burner shuts down to be sure the furnace had cooled enough. This prevents the furnace exterior from getting too hot and possibly cause a fire. That's my opinion.

Black Tank emptying
I was disappointed when the first time I went to hook up the city water to flush out the black tank on my trailer and found out there wasn't a place to hook the hose to flush it out! I never even thought to ask while we were looking at the trailer before we purchased it. I just assumed there would b...

Re: Squeaky Floor
Actually when using the product there are no pilot holes. The screws are just drilled into the flooring and break off just underneath the flooring surface. It seems like an easy fix. After I get the product and use it I will post with the results. It will be a week or so until I get the product and ...

Re: Squeaky Floor
I still have not removed the black underbelly covering to expose the squeaky flooring in my trailer. Starcraft said there were no floor joist and recommenced shims. It might be a temp fix, but not a long term solution. I assume (and have emailed starcraft to verify that the one piece flooring compos...

Re: Exterior Cargo door latch replacement
Picked up the new latch today at the dealer and didn't need the set of keys that was ordered since the latch came with two. The parts person thought they needed to be ordered separately. Removed 4 screws, removed the old latch and installed the new one. Took about a couple minutes. The keys that cam...

Re: Exterior Cargo door latch replacement
I emailed Starcraft and they sent me the part number (s) latch and key are sold separately. I had to go to the Starcraft dealer locally since Starcraft corporate does not sell the parts to individuals. The cost with 2 keys is going to be about $40. I'll replace it when it comes in. The dealer said i...

Exterior Cargo door latch replacement
Has anyone replaced a broken exterior cargo door latch? I had wondered why I could never get it to lock. I studied it closely tonight and discovered the little pin that turns down (when you turn the key)to lock the door is missing! It's just not there like the other side cargo door latch. Iv'e looke...

The added space that the 26BHS is really, really nice over the last Salem Cruise Lite without the slide. The AC/furnace worked fantastic with the roof vents instea...

Re: Added 120 VAC outlet above sink
We went with an easier solution, but I'm also fine with the coffee being to the right of the sink. I purchased one of those shelf dividers/risers that's about 4" tall and set up the coffee maker on top with extra storage underneath for the coffee. I found it weird that the plug isn't located along ...
