I too have looked down with a flashlight and it looks like a straight shot into the tank. COnsidering the location of the tank and the terlit, the terlit pretty much sets right atop the tank.

I believe the toilet does go straight down into the black tank. I say that because I've had to open the flush valve and look down in there with a bright flashlight more than once to see if it was full.

If the dealer cannot help you with this question then contact Starcraft them self and ask them go to starcraftrv.com and ask the question on their site under customer service you will need your vin number they are very helpful I've asked them many questions! Let us all know what you find out pls.

Your dealer is correct.That is true for all black tanks. I am asking about an elbow between the toilet and black tank.

Our dealer advised us to keep the black water closed even on sewage hookups (draining when you're just somewhat full) as they get a lot of problems with gunk hung up, which makes me think there could be an elbow. Our's is enclosed too tho.

I am trying to find out if the ,24 rls toilet goes directly down into the black water tank or is there an elbow. Mine is a climate package and I can't see. Anyone with an open belly?
