I replaced the head unit with one that had an auxiliary option and then tied it into the tv via a head phone Jack. Concealed all the wires and good to go.

where did you mount your tv? pics please.

If you just have 1 cable, then they must be using the yellow to send video from the player to the tv and the red/white is being used to send audio back from the tv to the player. You might have the red/white lines from the player plugged into the wrong jacks behind the tv. There are probably 2 sets of red/white rca jacks in the back of the tv. One set to send audio out, and one set to receive audio. You want the set labeled output to go to the player.

Some tv's have a 1/8" phone plug jack for audio out instead of rca jacks. If that's the case, you'll need an adapter cable to connect your red/white lines from the player. Did you say your tv came with a little adapter cable? What you need would have just red & white rca plugs, not one one with red, blue & green.

As far as 5100 mode, you just want it the way it powers up, which is radio, as long as no DVD is inserted. Mine can be playing the radio and as soon as I turn the TV on, it automatically plays the tv instead of the radio.

If I have the 5100 set to aux-in or a DVD inserted, mine won't play the tv.

Mine just has one set of rca jacks 3 colors from the back of the 5100 to the tv. Why do you need audio to the tv from the radio it will use its speaker wires for that. Video yes. Mine worked with only 3 rca jacks but when I switched tv's I forgot to mark which color went where. I am stumped

Just put my 24rls back in storage after a 10 day trip, so I'm mostly going by memory... there should be 2 sets of a/v cables running between the tv and radio. One should have 3 wires, yellow, red & white. That would be audio/video from the player going to the tv's composite audio/video inputs.

The other cable should have 2 wires, red & white. That would be the tv's audio output going to the radio/player's audio input. That's the one that plays the tv through the tt's speakers. All the rca jacks on the back of my tv are labeled as to input & output, although they are hard to read.

Mine came with a short adapter cable that I'll probably never use. It's red, green & blue. That's to hook up something (like a blu-ray player) that has component video to the tv. It's strictly video. The audio in that case would have to have a separate cable.

My radio/player is a Furrion 5100. The tv is a 28" Continu-us TV CT-2820. Both were installed at the factory.

Hope this helps.

It worked ith my old tv. Starcraft sent me the right one in exchange and I am not sure where to put the 3 colored rca wires on the tv. What mode does the radio have to be in. Thanks

TV sound comes out my 24rls ceiling speakers by default. The volume on my TV and Radio/DVD Player both have to turned up high enough. Couple ideas if you can't get sound out the tt ceiling speakers - audio cables from tv to radio loose or not connected? Also some tv's have a menu option to select between internal and external speakers. Once sound is getting to the radio, then the sound options like balance to select between inside and patio speakers are used on the radio (not tv) for control. Things shouldn't have to be this complicated!
